You know the dealer, the dealer is a man
With a lot of grass in his hand
Ah but the pusher is a monster
Good god he's not a natural man
The dealer, for a nickel lord
He'll sell you lots of sweet dreams
Ah but the pusher'llruin your body
Lord he'll leave... he'll leave your mind to scream
God damn ahh the pusher.

Normal thinking asks that question but to hardcore addicts someone overdosing means that product is potent and they will actually seek it out. So a death can be good marketing to drug addicts.

Guessing the manufacturer or someone is sprinkling in laced pills within batches. Shouldn't we see entire parties or events with od's?

At this point I think their long term business goals are based on human trafficking.

Fentanyl is synthetic and 100% of it is produced in China, who then ships it to the cartels.

Being as the US consumes 85% of the world's opiates. I'd imagine it's a indirect way for China to infect and kill our population... If you were to really think about it.

You have to understand how cheap the fentanyl is to produce and smuggle. Killing a hundred thousand people is collateral damage. It’s strictly about money.

Dope heads are going to get their fix. You kill fentanyl and something else will pop up. It always does.

its becoming so easy to get legal weed it's got to be cutting their profits.

Marijuana was never the money maker for cartels. Cocaine was the money maker because it had to be produced, marijuana is like cucumbers.. You can grow it yourself if you really enjoy doing it.

Fentanyl is the new baking soda. Mix baking soda with cocaine and you have rock (crack), It takes a lot less cocaine to get high when mixed with baking soda. The high doesn't last as long, but its highly addictive. Baking soda is cheap so if they can cut it and then use less cocaine and sell it for more than if it was that amount in pure cocaine, that's just smart business.

Cartels are pretty much pharmaceuticals. They don't give a frick about the impact it will have (unless it impacts sales), they their goal is to increase profits.

fentanyl

comes from China

That’s an accepted fact

Nothing leaves China without state approval

Also an accepted (but little known) fact

Therefore, the State of China knows where it is going and has known buyers in place

The question is why is the government of China shipping all the fentanyl to Mexican cartels?

Ok, so how is it produced in China- a country where common citizens cannot go take a crap in private, or worry about just SAYING the wrong thing and getting sent to prison, without government NOT being 100% in the middle of it?
It’s impossible.
So if made in China, then China government has a role. Period.
Then the question is why.

It’s the other way around with the dispensaries getting their asses handed to them by the cartel. They’ve gone into recreational markets, paid for farms in cash, and have flooded the black market with cheap cannabis. You have businesses that built their model based on a pound fetching around $2000, that are lucky to get $200 for it now. As long as the federal government continues to play the hands-off approach this will only get worse. Once thriving farms/dispensaries are now closing or cutting their labor down to the bare minimum.

The only way to truly fight "the war on drugs" is to make them legal and sell a clean product. But there is a lot of people who make a lot of money on drugs being illegal so it will never happen. In the mean time, local police are left to deal with it while the US government pretends like they give a frick.

Not positive but I'm pretty sure that's not what's happening. Fentanyl is way too potent to be used as a cutting agent for cocaine. And i dont think most cokeheads want opiates in their coke. I think when people end up with fentanyl in the cocaine it's either because the coke was handled in a place where fentanyl was being used for something else and it accidentally got mixed in or, like others have speculated, it's being done purposely to kill people.
