Gotcha. My best friend's dad had a glass eye and has lived a very normal life. The only time that I could tell is when he was drunk and only one was red.
I was there when he accidentally stabbed it out with a screwdriver working under a Bronco. Happened when I was maybe 8 and I still remember it to this day.

Ok , TLDR
We moved my MIL over here from Phoenix 10 years ago . Her husband who was supposed to sell the house , pay me back the $10. K and come over never did ! My MIL passed away 3 years later waiting on him. The only reason he came to her funeral we payed for was because we payed for him a plane ticket. He took her car and left the day after. Fast forward 7 years , my wife tells me he’s in town and shows up at my door at midnight looking homeless . Before he can say shite ,I as him what the frick he wants . He says he here to see his family . My wife invites him in and I immediately tell him to get out now . I don’t know this trash , get now. Well he’s smart enough to know if she invites him legally he can come in . F it , I grabbed him and slammed him out the door and called the cops . Legally he could stay , since my wife wants to make sense and blah, blah blah with this trash that deserted his wife . The policeman was apologizing to me . I compromised and allowed him to sleep on the lots next to my house I own . But he’s not allowed in my house . I know my wife is meeting him and trying to fix things or whatever. He’s a welder and already has a job in Austin and planning to stay here . I don’t want to go to jail but I will not tolerate him in my house . Of course my wife is naive and gullible and thinks we can be a big ole happy family.

Oh it still sucks. Watching me try to catch stuff is hilarious. I don’t have depth perception so it’s luck if I do, but i’ve Gotten better over the years. You just learn to deal with it. It ain’t coming back.

Now? Yes, absolutely. You get in a fight with somebody nowadays, you’re going to jail.
My dad’s age group and his dad’s age group didn’t see much wrong with fighting. Neither do I. I don’t find it as trashy as most here do. Sometimes, you’ve gotta be like Dalton off Road House. Be nice until it’s time to no longer be nice. That’s not to say that I think one needs to fight at every possible chance, but it is necessary.
One of my dad’s favorite stories he tells about his dad fighting was that one time they went to a tire shop. As they were exiting the establishment, some ole boy comes flying in and they both have to slam on their brakes. The other guy in his car starts cussing at my grandfather and flipping him off. Dad says that Pop put the truck in park and as quick as he’s ever seen anything, closed in on the guy and had him outside of the car, on the hood and whipped his arse a bit. After it was over, Pop walked away and the guy slinked into his car and got his business handled. Nobody said anything, and everybody went about their day.
People weren’t so averse to fighting back then, sometimes it was necessary.
There’s a few stories like that about my grandfather. Does that make him a hothead? Possibly. But he didn’t take people speaking like that in front of his family.

No lie, it’s an interesting conversation piece. And some people get so nervous asking about it. It’s a fun way to work a crowd.

I think the situation I suggested is basic human reaction when driving that should not have to be subjected to bullets.

I have another close family member that lost one recently in a freak accident. He said the worst part was being extremely cautious about the other one.

I got shot. I don’t like to talk about it, but the man who did it is dead.

I always wondered how he got out of the fenced in coyote pen back to the community.

I have many stories from when I was a young man that I'd never put online although I'm pretty sure that I'm good from a statute of limitations standpoint.

Spoken like someone who does not risk the confrontation escalating into a physical conflict for some reason.

Sounds easy as 123. I'll try that and everything will be fine.
