I don't read the opinion piece. Surely you don't take the words of politicians at face value? Especially anything involving money or ethics.

The name of the game is CONTRIBUTIONS folks......and it’s all “legal”

Texas has this thing down to an art. They work smart. From Jefferson County through Houston Metro to the Valley. Metroplex is a bit more upstanding however.
