I’ve had an awful cold for almost 3 weeks now. I keep coughing up phlegm. For whatever reason I just now realized it looks like and has the consistency of snot. Now I want to throw up.

I've had/have pneumonia and a pocket of infection in/on my Rt. Lung.
Got home yesterday from the hospital after being admitted last Tuesday.
I'm got an IV Bag going right now;at home.
I've coughed up a gallon of phlegm in the last month.
The memorable one was a 4 oz. glob that would have filled a snack pack pudding container.
And,yes to the question.
