Right but does living somewhere until kindergarten give you much of a basis for opinion?

Yes because I went back many times since to visit family

My wife and kids took a mountain trip earlier this month. East Tennessee / West North Carolina was a wonderful place. Very beautiful place, oh such nice people. North East Alabama and North Georgia people were very nice as well in terms of hospitality.

Far nicer than the Deep South which I find is rather rude to be honest.

I’d move to North Carolina in the western area from Asheville tomorrow if my wife would agree. Talks about nice. I work from home in my career so it would be easy.

NC has mountains, beaches, a booming economy, relatively low cost of living, lots of Mayberrys, lots of places with plentiful cultcha, etc. It's easily the best state in the South.

Having ruined their own states like NY and other northeastern states or Cali, the libs are moving in and slowly eroding NC. Ashville used to be awesome. I haven’t been in 10 years because of the white rich liberals ruining it.

It’s alarming what the college education system is putting out now.

It will bounce back quickly. The economy there is similar to Austin.

I’m not just referring to the economy. The woke level around here has increased exponentially and it’s having some effects

Wyoming or Montana

Too much granola in North Carolina.

I anticipate Alaska will change my mind. Haven’t been there yet though.

Was stationed at Lejeune. Beaches were sweet. Traveling through NC is straight up miserable though.

I love how Austin is used as a model for failing, unattractive city on this website.

Spot on. I really don’t get it. Is it merely political and a conservative website like this doesn’t appreciate cities?

I really wonder where are some of these people posting from?

The tax base is eroding away and communism is setting a record trend. California is fricked with leftwing politicians at the helm. You are going to be taxed to death more, not less in the future. Yeah I'm Bozo
