I scrolled through the thread quickly and didn't see Chicago mentioned. Has to be mentioned.

Really go to any fairly big city. They're all Liberal and all 3rd world shite holes. NOLA, Baltimore, NYC, Chicago, Detroit, San Fran, Seattle, Portland. Take your pick they're all fricking garbage pail cities.

And Philly. How could I forget that?

This is a list in roughly descending order by murder rate:

Ft Wayne, IN
Jackson, MS
Montgomery, AL
Mobile, AL
Flint, MI
Newport News/Virginia Beach, VA
Hartford, CT
Augusta, GA
Newark, NJ
Chattanooga, TN
Chicago, IL (outside loop)
Shreveport, LA
Little Rock, AR
Indy, IN
Tuscaloosa, AL (south of campus)
Cincinnati, OH
Columbia, SC
Philadelphia, PA
N Charleston, SC
Washington, DC
Miami, FL
Richmond, VA
Cleveland, OH
Memphis, TN
KC, Missouri
Dayton, OH
New Orleans, LA
Baton Rouge, LA
Detroit, MI
N Birmingham, AL
Baltimore, MD
St Louis, MO

Believe it or not the cities at the bottom like STL, Baltimore and Birmingham have murder rates 2-3x of the cities at the top.

But the only real difference between these cities are whether or not the crime is contained within blighted areas or endemic across all areas like Baltimore and New Orleans are now experiencing.

Places like Birmingham are very safe in some areas and war zones in others.

Medical industry and it’s about to get even bigger as Tulane is unveiling a $2 billion dollar medical school & research complex in the coming months.

Of if they are geographically more compact and happen to just contain all the bad areas in the metro.

Lots of small family owned companies

Textron is family owned..?

Michoud is family owned?

Port of NO is family owned?

Intralox is family owned, but it's a worldwide industry. Hell, Amazon is one of their biggest customers.

well that’s some good news at least

Where’s it going to be? They should name it after that Tulane med student who was murdered trying to save a stranger

"major" is no longer an appropriate adjective for New Orleans.

NOLA has running water most of the time so it's a step up from Detroit in that sense

Just watch We Own This City on HBO. Teedy is worse than their current mayor.

Um, the cartels are *protecting* you in the major resorts ... you are far safer within than without.

So, yes, we have few one offs of companies, but no real "INDUSTRY". Still waiting for someone to explain what industries we have here in New Orleans or which ones we can expect to see develop here.

I don't even think NOLA's port is top 10 busiest. Would you consider Savannah a major city?

Any city run by Progressives is dysfunctional and on the decline.
