That's why we get a balcony and watch the debauchery from above and make people do things for plastic beads.

When my son was about 4 or 5 I asked him if he wanted to go to a Mardi Gras parade. He said, “What’s that? What do you do?” I told him, “Well, people ride by in big floats and throw plastic beads and you try to catch them.” His response was, “Why?”

To this day, I haven’t figured out the answer to that question.

TH03,

Stop the melt. Have fun in your little ladder, or balcony as you call it. Maybe one day you can grow up to wear your very own Brees jersey and eat at JimmyJohns like a good little who dat and watch every movie filmed in New Orleans proclaiming they are all Oscar worthy.

It's good to be proud of being in the A-List of homosexual cities loved by Tennessee Williams.

If Orlando is Cleveland, then I'm the mistake on the lake.

TH03 in jester hat viewing the debauchery from "the balcony" with his daddy.

Bourbon street or french quarter Mardi Gras? frick that. you couldn't pay me to do that now that I'm 30.

Staying at a friends house a block off St. Charles uptown and just bouncing around that area for a few days is a blast

I’m not a fan of Mardi Gras anymore and even I think you sound like a douche.

When you bring your kids and you see them lighting up and getting excited about it, it is all worth it.

Even with all the pain in the arse of parking, walking, crowds, etc, I still get jazzed when I hear that first drum line coming down the street.

Mardi Gras is a pain in the arse, but it is worth it.
