Please don't disrespect EKL's legacy with that comparison.

Not me. So much opportunity wasted back then. He was busy padding his and his buddies pockets.

IDK. Jindal was pretty shitty, but I doubt he would have us on lock-down like JBE unless it was somehow politically advantageous for him to do so. IOW, he was given the order from his ALEC handlers.

We have entered a new era of post-truth post-facts America in 2020, so JBE is the best Governor ever!

We haven't had a decent one since Foster. Its been a clown show since. I know people like to give Jindal a pass, but he was awful too. If more people would have paid attention and not supported a no chance to win Rispone, another of Jindal's cronies, and got behind Abraham, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

No one wants to hear this. But, the governors now are fighting a losing battle. The infrastructure and demographics problems we have are insurmountable. That is why I think someone like Edwin Edwards is worst all time. So much opportunity wasted when actual change and improvement could happen. There is nothing anyone can really do to make Louisiana better now.

I can't really think of much he's done to improve this state. Expanded Medicaid and raised taxes. That's about it.

1000%, but people love him and his grandson around here, so he won’t get the hate from all sides he deserves.

I don't necessarily disagree, but there HAS to be some way to improve. I mean you can't turn a tanker instantly but surely La has been next to Tx so long that it has learned a few things.

He is definitely in the Earl, Edwin, Blanco class for sure.

When history talks about the worst governors of Louisiana JBE will be in the conversation without a doubt.
