This is pretty unprofessional for Jimbo. His response was not warranted.

It's no different than AOC blasting some insane argument about a Trump tweet.

Do care either way, but Zachary should be a bit more honest. They created their own special school district to separate themselves from traditional public school administration. As a result, their scores are higher and they often “boast” about how much better they are relative to EBR public schools. Are they wrong for doing so—no they are not. They should not, however, take shots at others for boasting IMO.

It should be beneath Catholic to even argue with Zachary

I hope he got no response from Catholic coach

He responded “the prejudice assumptions in this thread are cringeworthy”

So smart people have smart kids and have jobs that allow them to afford to send them to good private schools in good neighborhoods.

Well....duh.

Next thing you'll tell me is attractive people have attractive kids.

St George in BR is about 5-6k. It's only K-8th. There are a few that are around 10-11k for HS in BR. I'm not sure what LSU costs now but I'd guess more than that.

CHS is far from being a private school.
It’s a parochial school and there is a very big difference.

Hey, let’s compare the richest, most privileged kids in Baton Rouge to public school students that may have special needs or come from poverty.

Ignorance is bliss.

So rich people are smarter than poor people? Setting himself up for some major backlash with that one.

Catholic has every right to be proud of their stats, but to compare them to any public school is about as "apples to oranges" as it gets. Zachary coach is right...the public schools have plenty of kids that are going to score low on the ACT that Catholic wouldn't ever come close to admitting to their school.

I didn't even think about this. Yeah, I mean you have to pass a test to get into Catholic right?

It would be like if the 5A HS football team that won state would brag to the 1A HS football team that won state "we better than you bitches!". Well no frick... The 1A school only has so many kids at the school and has to work with what they got. The 5A school has so many people, they have to have tryouts.

Also have to subtract tops from tuition costs. That’s just the state playing with numbers

Accept the fact that CHS and other private schools can hand-select their students and brag about their superior scores? I have. It’s why I wake every single day with a purpose because I make a difference to the kid in my third hour who is homeless and wants a better life.

They also have dumb kids they send to private school where they get all kinds of extra help many public schools don't provide.

Most private schools are closer to $20k if not above that number. Religious schools still tend to be cheap but they mostly only exist in very poor communities.
