i enjoy going to a bar, diner, or a chinese buffet or something by myself. i probably wouldnt grab a steak or something nice on my own, though.

I'm a weirdo I suppose but I fricking Love eating at a restaurant by myself. Busier the better for people watching. Often easier to pick up on the waitress when your ole ball and chain aint with you.

I don't see it as weird, but I don't do it myself when traveling. I will get a meal to go and take it back to my hotel, I'm not one to sit and eat in a restaurant reading a newspaper or book or playing with my phone. But I don't think it's weird either.

Do it all the time when traveling for work and not entertaining clients. Usually at the bar though.

I'll just sit at the bar.
If I have to eat alone at a table in a nice restaurant I'll just pretend I'm a professional food critic and make weird faces when taking bites.

I'm probably going to dinner by myself tonight. Have plans with friends tomorrow night and just want to stop and have dinner before I go home. I'll bring my book with me and just enjoy my time alone.
