Is it un-Christian to say or think "I like dogs more than I like people?"

I go back and forth on this. Sometimes I think that it's really un-Christian to think "I like dogs more than I like people."

But then sometimes I think that it's not really un-Christian to like dogs more than people if you stop and think about it.

This ones a toughy!!!

It’s not though.

Dogs are vastly superior to people.

I like dogs more than people.

But I would prioritize saving people from a fire etc over a dog.

I don’t think that’s un Christian.

I agree about liking dogs more than people. I'm an atheist so I don't have to worry about the whole "un-Christian" aspect. I'm curious why you think Jesus or God would care about your opinions on the vast superiority of dogs over humans...Does Jesus hate dogs?

A lot of people could be walking into a store and see a sad fricked up looking dog on one side of the front door and a human lying in fetal position and foaming at the mouth on the other side of the door, and they'd go straight for the dog.

If you say this and actually mean it, in a way that means "i would let a human die over a human" you are a fricking lunatic.

No. Dogs treat you better than humans. Unconditional love.

What if your dog only loves you because you're the one who feeds it, and your dog doesn't actually think that you have an awesome personality?

Years ago, I brought my kids to the Baton Rouge Dog Mardi Gras parade.
There were some dog owners there that completely rude and shunned my kids.
Such a strange group of people.

Nah.

Dogs are mans helper. Humans are mainly obstacles.

If you actually mean you value dogs over people, in a demonstrable way, you are a psycho.

What does the Bible say about loving your neighbor?

Now what does it say about loving your neighbor's dog?

This ain't hard.

One of the oddest things about the Bible to me is that it has virtually nothing good to say about dogs.
