I agree completely. Make yourself presentable-have some self respect. Getting on a plane looking like you’re trying to show people what a slob you are is not cool. No one said anything about wearing a suit. Look like you take care of daily hygiene for cryin’ out loud!

Why do you care unless they are slowing down the TSA line or boarding process?
I’ve seen more boomers who have no concept of how to go thru screening than “mellineals”.
Also, you likely think everyone younger than 40 is a millennial while completely ignoring your anger is driven by zoomers.

Sure, but you could also post a picture of your average 20 something year old, not an adidas model.

The guy in the 2nd pic is far removed from your average traveler.

This is the most pathetic take ive seen in a long time. You are assuming that these "kids" are professionals and not just going to visit some friends. What if the shaggy looking dude you were describing just lost their home and they are leaving the city to be with family? You are just an arsehole at heart. Mind your own business and move on with your miserable day.

You people forget you are talking about public transportation too.

Yeah im not wearing a fricking button down tucked in to my slacks to sit crammed in a tiny flying box next to gross strangers for hours.

If i have to do that, im going to at least be comfortable doing it.

This isnt a fricking job interview.

Well, dressing “well” and presenting yourself appropriately has an impact on your self-esteem and self-worth.

Little things that can improve your life.

I usually assume they haven't bathed in days, and that's probably correct.

That is a hill Scruffy will die on.

Wearing shorts on an airplane is the height of trashy.

Preach Baw! You don’t have to wear Biz Casual & nothing wrong with dressing comfortably, but for gawds sakes…have some respect for yourselves! The PJ’s have gotten outta control. So trashy

When I was young, I used to wear a suit and tie on flights....Then, I did that on a TransPacific flight and thought that was pretty dumb. So now, I prioritize my comfort.

I'll fight you on that hill.

Talking to yourself in the third person is trashier. And yes I know, Futurama and blah blah.

Corrosion of society I agree.

On the other hand, is there anything worse than a 400 lb elephant who decides to chomp down on her Subway sammy right when the doors close?

Well, not sure everyone would agree there, and that is with accepting that talking in the 3rd person is dumb.

Wear pants. No one wants to see your tree trunk sized legs.
