No. It’s hard with today’s cost of living to get your own place without Govt assistance at 18 yrs old.

I lived on my own in college with money support from parents tied with me working a summer job to help out with costs.

Then lived 2 years with them after college working making 10 bucks an hour to save for my own place when I found a real job somewhere. Found one after 2 years, moved out, doing great since. So no living with them at 20 isn’t bad by itself but

no college, still live with parents, never had a job before, don’t leave the house all that much. I have no idea what to do in life

This is bad. Get your shite together get a job or go to a trade school and start doing something with your life.

Get a job, try out new things, contribute to the household.

Do you help out around the house? You probably should get some job to help out with expenses.

But you need to start thinking about what you want in life. Have you considered joining the USAF or some other branch of the service?

Eh, cost of living is stupid high compared to when I moved out. My $525 1500 sq ft first apt, now costs $950. Only problem here is you not having a job at 20, make and save money while you're figuring things out, you'll thank me later.

Living with parents at 20, no. Not being motivated, yes

And do what? Go to college, waste 4 years and a lot of money, and end up in the exact same place I am at now. No reason to go to College just to go. As far as jobs, not many people going to hire someone like me who has never had a job before or has a degree. Even with those things it is impossible to find a job. I blame overpopulation. Too many people not enough jobs.

Bad for who? I would probably live with mine if we lived in the same city. Wife probably wouldn’t be super excited.
