PTC/South Fayette County. Sure, you can live a nice life there, but you're surrounded by junk.

PTC and South Fayette is a great area.

McIntosh, Starr's Mill, Sandy Creek and Whitewater are all great schools. Whitewater covers all of South Fayette to the Coweta/Spalding lines. It is an excellent school. You're offbase on this one, bud.

Our favorite place to eat is in Fayetteville.

This board shits on every single city, state yet has a weird fascination with top 10 state/cities lists while conveniently ignoring that Louisiana places in the bottom of every single list you can think of.

You haven’t been to Atlanta if you think Houston is a better city

Not in a ratio to what it should be. A state can be shite on but not at a rate it should be.

You'd think California was a hell hole from what I've read (and I've been a lurker for a long time). I mainly lurk on the poliboard and California is shite on far, far, far more than Louisiana and other Southern states are.

Well I guess I don’t. But man if I’m not there are a lot of liars out there. The H-E-B with “HEIGHTS” out front down the street, Heights Bier Garden in walking distance with a vet clinic next door that says “You’re in the Heights!”

I suppose I just took them at their word.

Atl is far prettier as far as topography and proximity to the Blue Ridge mountains.

The Smokies are an hour away, also.

Um, Atlanta is a first-class medical city. Great hospitals everywhere that specialize in different areas.

Ok - well “original” Heights is several blocks east of Shepherd

All that is definitely the “newer” younger and more affordable part, kind of the border between the heights and shady acres. East of there is what I was talking about originally. It’s fairly incredible you’ve been there for 4 months and don’t know where White Oak is

Lol. No need to apologize. It’s good marketing on their part. But that explains the difference between that and the “leafy” areas…

Yep. A 7 yr old daughter.

My wife's cousin has 2 kids. The oldest(son) is a junior and the youngest(daughter) is a freshman at Alatoona and she raves about it.

That makes sense. Honestly the area isn’t terrible and as I said earlier there are some great places to eat and a couple decent places to run.

Well White Oak, Heights Blvd, 19th Street and Studewood are primary backbones of The Heights

If beer is your thing, then go explore and get a growler at Premium Draught on Studewood
