I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

Ask nearby coworkers: is Halloween a holiday

Coworkers: No, we don't get it off.

Ask coworker on phone: Halloween is a holiday:

Coworker on a phone: if you're a damned pagan it is. My first boss invited my wife and I over to a Halloween "party" and they started dancing nude in the moonlight with my wife and I locked in their house.

True, but that should also apply to Thanksgiving, Independence Day, and election day.

About like how national pancake day is a holiday. It's on the calendar, but anybody actually earning a living is working that day

Nor Satan Claus. Christmas is pretty pagan too, I celebrate the Christian aspects and leave it at that.
