No. Money is awesome. I wish my family would give me money instead of that dumb box of cheap arse candy.

Not if you’re a grandparent. Asking about Christmas before Thanksgiving is though

Ask TulaneLSU. It might be number 62. You'd probably be better off sourcing a low price per pound turkey.

If giving money as a Christmas gift is trashy, then consider me Myles Garrett.

Money is miles ahead of an Applebee’s gift card, I’ll tell you that.

How can money be trashy but a gift card isn’t?

I send them cards telling them I made a donation to the Human Fund in their honor.

No it's not trashy. Why run the risk of giving something they may not like; waste of money.

Actual money is great. In some cases the parents may take the money from the kid to buy cigarettes and beer.
THAT is trashy.

Money = time. It’s nice to have more time.

Money is the gift that keeps on giving, it's also the best gift when you have no idea what to get for someone.

If anyone here gets annoyed by getting money for Christmas, please send it my way.

My brother used to always send us one of those Swiss Colony meat and cheese gift baskets—for 10 years in a row! I finally told him to not do that any more as no one in my family ate any of it. I said if you want to do Christmas gifts, just send my kids $10 each. He started that and they were thrilled. I hated him spending that money on something we all hated.

Not at all.
All cash gifts are welcome.
In fact the more the merrier.
