No, it hasn't, at all. Our current existence is the exact opposite of our existence for thousands of years.

Why is that?

Men have a drive to create and build, and most are competitive as well.

You're saying humanity hasn't been focused on working to simply provide food and shelter for the majority of its existence?

Really?

Can be avoided if you don't want to live/work in a trendy city. Need vs. want.
It's usually a trade-off between cost of housing and commuting. You either live where the jobs are and pay the housing, or live where housing is cheap and pay the commute.

Im saying humans haven't been stationary, working mostly behind a computer, driving cars, and watching tvs for the majority of their day.

We were semi nomadic susitence hunters and gatherers for like a millenia.

Why would anyone with 1/4 of a brain “lean towards socialism”? We are in this situation exactly because of bad government fiscal policies and corporations in lock step with the state…do these morons really think that state run everything would be better??!

You said this:

quote:

People NEED to do things other than wakeup, go to work, eat rice and beans and go to sleep or they'll kill themselves. Literally.

I said this is bullshite. That is not a need, that's a want. And the fact people off themselves over it is a purely modern development, completely outside of the history of humanity. People in this country have no ability to distinguish between a need and a want, and when that want is a need in their eyes, they off themselves. Because they're delusional and is a direct reflection of how utterly decadent this country has become. Yet you can't seem to comprehend that, because you are one of them.

Idiot.

Just cooking for yourself is going to be healthier than eating out

I encourage you to read the book Sapiens, but it's written by a Jew so you probably won't like it

That's part of their problem.

If only there were something people could do about that.. I can't imagine being unemployed somewhere like SF.

There's an entire book written on the premise. I'm not deflecting, I'm giving you roughly 400 pages of reading on my opinion.

2lbs of pinto beans from Kroger, $1.99. 2lbs of white rice, $1.49.

4lbs of complete nutrition (before cooking I might add), eaten by most of the non-western world, for less than five dollars.

Need versus Want.

Excellent way to become Vitamin B12 as well as a litany of other things deficient.
