Is Edwin Edwards still in control down there?

Basically this....I am 34 years old and live in southern california and for the past 10 years or so I have known that Edwin is my bio father. Long story short, he got my mother pregnant and she never saw him again (I have the long version if anyone wants it).

Being that he is almost 90 and due to the fact that I have kids of my own now, I would like to get some resolution out of this family secret and some closure.

I have tried all the news stations, CBS actually was going to air a satellite interview with me done over here in San Diego but for some reason it was canceled last minute. I hear later on from report that set it all up (David Spunt) that Edwin caught wind of it and squashed it before it could air.

I have tried speaking with him many times and he will not even acknowledge I exist, and his wife Trina..... wow. lets just say I would rather not try and convince her of anything else. She basically hates me and my mother. Lawyers wont even touch this with a a 10 foot pole ( I have spoken to over 30ish of them).

to the point.....anyone down there have recommendations, suggestions on how I could pursue this? for proof? I don't want any money, just closure.

I am getting a lot of people calling me obsessed, crazy etc. Thats cool. Really it is simple....I have not put much time into this and about every 2 years or so I try a new venue to try and settle this. I stumbled across this message board and posted this yesterday. NBD if nothing happens from this, just a try.

Looks like Trina, maybe David have been on here commenting. Remember, they are going to obviously be biased on their side and portray me to be a crazy lunatic.

If Edwin dies tomorrow, that would suck for me but still no big deal. Just would love to know with 100% certainty via DNA test. wont change anything and really unless you are in my shoes, how can you have an opinion on me just walking away or forgetting this.

This has been fun even with all the name calling.
