Columbus is center left.

Pretty accurate assessment in my opinion.
I’ve spent a fair amount of time in Columbus and dealt with people in Columbus on a daily basis for almost 30 years. First off, they are huge Buckeye fans so anything negative about tOSU doesn’t sit well. Any reaction from their current situation will come more from a fan perspective than a SJW one.
BTW, Columbus is a great city to spend time in.

OSU administration leans right, look at how they handled their “sit in” problem. Students and town have a slight left lean. It’s nothing like Austin or Portland or even baby progressive like Nashville, but they will probably go Dem in a presidential election.
