I'd imagine OSU has enough football fan students that the leftists won't get a foothold

Ohio is full of baws in my experience. They’re pretty patriotic and put a lot of kids into the military.

If I remember correctly, OSU is the place that shut down student protests with a quickness.

I don't think they'll get too bad.

Suburban and country midwesterners and southerners have more in common culturally than they do with the coasts if that answers your question.

Or just look at a voting map from the 2016 election.

It’s the reason Ohio is a swing state. That area surrounding tOSU is really left, politically.

CUM is gone after this.

When I was there, I saw a ton of Trump bumper stickers and signs. Very little Hillary.

Ohio is a red state. Historically a lot of union labor there that swings the state blue sometimes.

Columbus metro as a whole is purple. The republican voters there are probably more passive Trump supporters than the republicans in the Toledo, Dayton, Cincy or Cleveland areas.

They built a statue for Randy Savage so they're good in my book.

I lived between Dayton and Cincinnati for a little bit several years ago and it was conservative. When I would go to Columbus, I got the impression it was a little more liberal but nothing like Austin or Portland.

Cleveland and Columbus are pretty liberal, followed by the Cincinnati area. The rest of the state is pretty red.
