Is Civil War possible in this country in this day and age?

I can’t say that I have ever seen so many people on both sides hate each other as much as they do right now. The Rittenhouse trial has showcased that. For the life of me, I can not understand how anyone could see the evidence and think this kid did anything other than protect himself. It’s a sad state of affairs here.
Is it possible that all of this eventually comes to a head and turns into a war?? What would that kind of war look like to you?
Or do you think all of this blows over within a year or two?

I don’t think the average person hates their fellow citizens that much. But if there was a war it would look like the Breakup of Yugoslavia or the Syrian Civil War just on a massive scale. China and Russia would seize territory too while we can’t do anything.

It definitely is possible but it's fought without guns. It's fought with economic policies.

I got banned from a bar a few weeks ago when a Woke bartender said in an extremely racist manner that most black people don’t have IDs. I then sarcastically ask him to point out his clear blatant racism if he thinks most black people don’t know how to find the DMV, and then the bartender bans me claiming I’m a racist thinking black people don’t know where the DMV is. One of the biggest sources of income, especially in the south, is social security, so some states break away, they give up that income.

I think an extreme ideology seizing power a la the Nazis in the Weimar Republic is way more likely than a Civil War. But if there was a war it would be cells of people fighting to protect their communities or to advance a cause, there wouldn’t be entire states seceding like the first Civil War.

I'm of the opinion that you frick around and find out. While I will never go out of my way to attend a riot, large social gathering, etc I am firmly planted in my rights granted under the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States.
If any person physically (regardless of their skin color, gender role that particular day, etc) threatens me or my children in a violent way, they have fricked up and found out.
We have witnessed lunatics destroying everything in their paths without consequences. The quicker we have 100,000 Kyle Rittenhouses, the better off we are as a society.
To think a 17 year old did what hundreds of thousands wished they could do is fascinating.
