Is burying dog poop a sanitary way to get rid of it?

Collect it and burn it . Preferably in a bag by a friend's front door.

Hot like it is outside, wait until the afternoon when the sun hardens that shite. It wont smell nearly as bad

I had a Boxer, and bought one of these years ago, and did what you're talking about. It worked, fwiw.

I fail to see the problem. If you're going to collect it for a week in the first place, just throw it away on trash day instead of burying it.

Pick it up everyday and put it in the trash can.
1 it sends a message to your dogs that you actually care they dont have to near their own shite, they know its there.
2 if you bury it you run the risk of your dogs or anything else digging it up, where I live we cant do that due to runoff and any ground water that may run into the lake
3 your neighbors will treat you with more respect when they realize you are not disgusting and making the whole neighborhood smell
4 dogs shite and it smells
