Is anyone here adopted?

I was adopted at birth & I wondered who my biological parents were all my life. Long story short, I found my biological parents & it has been a complete nightmare. The only good that came out of finding my parents was that I gained a sibling. We are now very close. My relationship with both my biological parents is beyond toxic & I am so thankful that neither of them raised me. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience.

I honestly regret it every single day. My sibling is the only reason that I still have contact with my bio mother. She is mentally ill & it's a really terrible situation. Bio father is just a complete jackass. I wish them no harm but I'll never have any dealings with either of them unless I needed a kidney or something like that.
Good to know I'm not the only 1 who has had a bad experience with this.

Ouch.... what a mind frick that must have been.
My bio dad told me lots of things about my mother that I'd rather not have known, but nothing like that.
I did the ancestry DNA thing & I discovered that one of my best friends from high school is actually my distant cousin.
Another crazy thing is that my cousin from my adopted family actually married one of my distant biological cousins. 6th I believe.

I'd be interested to hear it. Mine is pretty crazy too. It involves attorneys, lawsuits, child protective services, having my sibling removed from my mothers care, paternity tests... Complete shite show.

Half-adopted. I know my biological father and he's a good dude, but we've never had a parent/child relationship. What's crazy is that he had no hand in raising me whatsoever, yet we're exactly alike. Nature beat nurture on that one.
