What is odd is that the other pair of Ray Ban's I purchased are genuine and have been authenticated. Definitely seems like a scam that one pair were authentic and the other were fakes. So perhaps Amazon does get ripped by these sellers, however, their customer service in my experience has been top notch.
That sounds like the seller was a scam victim - someone bought a real pair, then changed their mind and "returned" it, except it was a fake pair. That would be one way the might send one real and one fake.
Other possibility is they sell both real and knockoffs and a shipping clerk screwed up.

It's funny you post this. I just bought an older model jeep and ordered some grab handles for the roll bar. The pic on amazon had them all black. When I got them in the mail today, they had huge white letters saying OPAR. Not Mopar, opar. Oh well, just blacked out the letters and put those puppies on. But, yes Amazon is starting to pull this more often.

I ordered a computer accessory off ebay late last Friday night. At noon Sunday I rec'd the package from USPS.
I've seen the USPS truck around the neighborhood on Sundays. Guess USPS does deliver on Sundays.

Sister ordered a new and sealed copy of Animal Crossing for the 3DS that was really a TinTin cartridge with an Animal Crossing label over it. Shipped from and sold by Amazon.

I recently bought two tripod stands for hunting from an Amazon third party seller. When I received them, I noticed the shipping label was from Walmart.com, and had a random guys name with my address on it. So I went to Walmart.com and discovered that they sold that tripod for $40 less. So what I gather the third party guy was doing was just taking my order and then placing an order with Walmart.com and shipping it directly to me all without ever touching the product. Pretty genius business plan If you ask me. But it all relies on someone like me who doesn't always price shop.

Not having any problems. Things are junk in general these days with a life span of about a year. So buy from Companies with no bad reviews. I just got a new toaster oven that crap'd out in 10 Mos. Oster honored the 1 year warranty.

Its 50 50 you get the size you tried for.
I got size 6 Sox after checking 12 to 15.
The replacements had no size on container, were too small.

I can’t say about Walmart because they have also added questionable sellers as of late online.
eBay I love. They always side with the buyer. You can find what you want individually sold if you want and know the picture is exactly what you’re getting.
Y’all don’t realize Amazon isn’t only filled with obvious odd listings.
Genuine products are listed by reliable sellers and receive positive attention. Unreliable and counterfeit companies are able to hop onto their listing and you cannot select which source the product comes from unless you choose and color or size that is even available that is only from the seller you want. All of the reviews are put together on the “same” product for multiple sellers. Amazon does not currently give a shite and reliable sellers are forced to back out as negative feedback is built towards them when the person didn’t actually get their order from them leaving the unreliable sellers with still leftover positive reviews, pictures, fake review purchases from the money they made off the other person’s credit. It’s not surprising since they apparently don’t care about the people working in their own facilities either. Amazon choice and the other labels don’t mean anything. It’s way easier to spend more on what you want elsewhere. Your time and safety has to be worth something. Food, electronics (fire hazard), and beauty products should definitely not be worth buying on there
