You think they're the hypocrites?

mean there is freedom of speech but in a public setting and an individual walks up to a gay couple and says they are praying for their souls because their homosexuality has to me just insulted and insinuated that the person is committing morally wrong acts and is slandering those individuals and creating perceptions based religion and not legality.

I think at that point you can open to any criminal or civil liabilities that come with slandering.

Criminal penalties for speaking your mind in public? That's the most anti-American thing I can think of. Thank God you are not a lawmaker.

If two men want to get married, I think free speech goes out the window

You dont understand how tolerance works do you? You don't believe in tolerance. You believe in your views jammed down people's throats. If you believe in tolerance you would tolerate religion.

quote:

to confront them with that is forcing your religious views on them, and we shouldn't do that.

So you have no problem posting this and in the same post making it clear that it's OK for you to tear into religious people, call them. Biggots, and wish criminal and civil liability on them for their personal beliefs?

it blows my mind that people would actively deny someone the ability to do something that does not affect them in any way

If the doughnut bumpers and butt pirates are willing to suffer the same fate as the rest of us shmucks by legally binding oneself to someone who could turn out crazy.....Well Ok..

This statement is so easy to tear apart.

Do you believe in murder and theft laws? Because unless it's someone you know getting murdered or you are a store owner neither of those things affect you in any way.

So then you support expanding marriage to allow incestuous marriages. That's a joining of two consenting adults and their marriage doesn't affect you in anyway. It's illogical to support one and not the other.

Trying to compare those two shows a serious lack of critical thinking skills.

incest breeding increases birth defects, no? that is kinda the only reason why I would be against incest relationships

other than that, I don't care if you want to frick your sister if you are both adults
