You do realize that if it's a mechanical issue, he needs a tow truck?

And even for a tire, the AAA membership is cheaper than a good floor jack and a power tool for the lug nuts?

My alcoholic buddy used to use them to tow his car home from the bar, twice a month under their coverage….thats all I got

AAA travels with the individual. If they are with a friend and an issue comes up, they will respond. That’s been the selling point when my daughters were going through college before they both got married.

I had them for 10 years and used it maybe once to change flat. But its included in my insurance and my cap one card. So no more AAA for me

I gift a subscription to mom and an out of town kid so I can sleep without worrying if they have a breakdown or dead battery.

Never had to use but I have been buying there best membership for awhile. It is worth it even if you have to get towed one time. I think it is 135 for a year which includes unlimited tows
