You do realize that if it's a mechanical issue, he needs a tow truck?
And even for a tire, the AAA membership is cheaper than a good floor jack and a power tool for the lug nuts?

My alcoholic buddy used to use them to tow his car home from the bar, twice a month under their coverage….thats all I got

AAA travels with the individual. If they are with a friend and an issue comes up, they will respond. That’s been the selling point when my daughters were going through college before they both got married.

You couldn't find the radiator on a car.

I had them for 10 years and used it maybe once to change flat. But its included in my insurance and my cap one card. So no more AAA for me

I gift a subscription to mom and an out of town kid so I can sleep without worrying if they have a breakdown or dead battery.

Son is going off to college in the fall, and I’m thinking about getting him a membership in case he breaks down and we’re too far away to help.
Never had to use but I have been buying there best membership for awhile. It is worth it even if you have to get towed one time. I think it is 135 for a year which includes unlimited tows

AAA is worth it for travel discounts and towing for sure.
