Usually by 7 the grass is cut and I'm on to edging.

I usually start at 6:30 am on a Saturday. I figure everyone should be up by that time. The dirty looks from neighbors don’t bother me.

I don't think so, but turnabout is fair play. If someone is fine cutting their grass at 7:00, they should be equally fine with someone playing loud music and partying at midnight.

I am an old fart in his 30s, so it's hard for me to understand why anyone would want to sleep past 7:00 anyway on a Saturday, though. Assume everyone here who has a problem with it is much younger and has an active nightlife.

I was routinely out there at 7 am or earlier when I used to cut grass back home. We had a big yard, and it'd take about an hour and a half for both front and back. Who wants to cut grass for 1 1/2 hours in 90 degree heat?

Only degenerates sleep past 7 am and they don't matter anyway so go ahead and cut. Tell them to mix up their drug routine so they can sleep through it if it bothers them that bad.
