Maybe not if you are trying to beat a storm or such, but the grass will still be wet with morning dew so it will be a messy cut.

Unless heat or rain is an issue, yes, it's too early.

Why would you want to mow the grass when it is still wet?

My SOB neighbor cuts his grass about 8AM on Saturday. The SOB is retired and can cut his grass anytime during the week.

Start cutting his grass on Friday afternoons. Establish neighborhood dominance. PIIHWB if necessary.

Hire a lawn company to come cut his grass. Show him you are O-T ballin' and don't have time for his shite.

If you got to ask, then you already know the answer.

Some people are dicks and want to start as soon as they get up. Some people are considerate of others and will wait until 8-9am. I say if you know your neighbors and if they are asleep or not, I would go from there. But personally, why can't you just wait until 9 am? This is assuming you live very close to your neighbors but if you in the country, then do as you please.

I bought a reel mower specifically so I could cut whenever I want, guilt free.

Yes and 4:30am is too fricking early to be trowing the football around in the pool with your bros @fricktardneighbors. Needless to say I'm not enjoying the poolside/gymside apartment thusfar.

waking up early is one of the steps to becoming successful, clearly you're not on that path.
