Waiting another hour might cost you three degrees
It was a 10 degree difference here in Nashville this morning between 7:00 and 9:00.

The false dichotomy that you can either mow at sunrise or 2pm is moronic.
Why the hell would I wait until 2:00 pm when it's 98 degrees when I can do it when it's 73 degrees at 7:30? That would be moronic.

That's about 4 hours too early, in my opinion.

I live in Metairie and I believe the start time, by law, is 8:30am. I have a neighbor, who is retired, that cuts on Saturday. In fact he is just finishing up. He can cut any day of the week but the fricker does it on Saturday. I think he does it just to piss me off.

Depends. Do you like your neighbors?

Being scared of heat is for pussies

Lol at not being able to sleep through white noise coming from someone else's property. Also lol at sleeping past 7:30 as a non-teenager.

I rarely see 7:30 on the weekends. Hell, 8:30 is up early to me

Right?
Side note I just bought a 60V Dewalt weed eater that was a really GREAT purchase, no cords, no gas, no carb issues and very quiet. T
he torque this this has is insane.

quote:Good lord pansies. You're on a riding mower. 95 degrees isn't that big of a deal on a riding mower unless you're fat. I mowed yesterday at 2pm when it was 93 and I lived to tell about it, and laugh at pusses who think they'll wilt.
all yards are 1+ acre. We all start mowing at 6:30 when the weather is hot to avoid the heat of the day.

Bitch, I mow with a push mower. I have gotten heat stroke because I'm old as frick. And I'll mow when I damn well feel like it.

It’s 8,000 degrees out here. Hell no it’s not too early, but I don’t live next door to you either. Lol

If your yard is small enough that a weed eater will wake up the neighbors then you don't really need a gas weed eater. Just get the EGO 56v and don't worry about it.

7:30 am weed whacking on the weekend is an absolute douche move

I go with 9AM for loud yard work...

If you start early, you will hear my guitar amp turned up to 11 at 1 am.

My neighbor fired up a bad arse Stihl to edge his entire yard at 8am. I could hear it in my kitchen while making grocery list.
He also had some hippity hop music playing at a decent volume(he's got a nice DJ setup) in his garage that I couldn't hear yet.
I ain't mad at him. But I know some neighbors are fuming about it.
I just chuckled and waved to him on my way to Rouses.
