Cane's ain't what it use to be.
It seems like the current business model for any start up is to serve delicious food when you open and slowly cut costs by offering an inferior product. I’m not picking on Cane’s because everyone does it.

You know this is a website full of fatties in Louisiana when the 4 page topic of discussion is fried chicken.
Quit eating shite.

He loved the Popeyes mac and cheese, but said nothing about their dirty rice?

To clarify, you are saying fried chicken is shite?

Not speaking for him, but watching Chef Lee describing how “brown” and “crisp” the skin should be is a good indication of knowing the oil is changed and fresh. He described the Popeyes sandwich oil soaked in the batter (which indicates that the chicken was cooked in oil that has not been changed and nasty).
I did not know Susur Lee was famous (don’t watch cooking channels)...but he is recognized as the 10 best chefs in the world currently. Pretty cool he is involved with his kids (going along with the YouTube channels).

Iron Chef bags on the quality of the food the whole video but near the end he’s using one of the sauces and he said he was going to season it. Then he said no I don’t need to and his son says “so you’re admitting it’s good?” And Iron Chef goes “ehehehheheh”. Made me LOL.

Anyone else think that the Popeyes chicken sandwich has been shite since they brought it back.
Might be in my head but the first round was phenomenal. The last couple times I’ve had it it’s wasn’t anything that great. I probably had two the first go round and two after so maybe it’s just me.
Same here - before the craze when it was released I had it a couple times in Louisiana and loved it. Both times i've tried it after the craze died down it hasn't been that good.
spicy box and mashed potatoes is a much better order

I was speaking to fried chicken in general. Not the soggy sandwich his son picked up that had probably been sitting in a bag for over an hour.
