Pretty solid analysis, it makes sense, anyway.

Nice to see you posting still. I left the other place a year ago when it was finally overrun by mouth breathers. Still a few good ones left but a shame what became of HR's place.

Netanyahu has been itching to start ear with Iran for decades, while dragging the USA in to foot the bill.

So Israel launched ballistic missiles and drones at Israel at Netanyahu's behest?

I'm sure those Israeli women raped and children killed were just asking for it to start a war with Hamas at the behest of Netanyahu, right bro?

Bombing a consulate is some seriously rogue behavior. But, hey, the rules-based international order is whatever Israel and the U.S. decide it is that day.

While I only got to meet the King's brother in person, I did get to see the King and his wife from only a few feet away.

The queen is a goddamn smoke show IRL. Those pics don't do her justice. King Abdullah did good.

How rogue is it compared to having your HQ under a hospital, and the press all knowing that fact yet never reporting it?

Very good to hear from you, trust you to be well.

Has been a few years now since being in HR's place. Was fun back years ago, especially the Scoreboard!

That region is a mess and grateful our son is no longer there. He has a pretty balanced view of the area and have learned much from his experiences. Unsure about my analysis but what Hamas [Iran] did was so over the top they deserve to be smacked...barbarian conduct must be checked and heavily at that.. imho

Unfortunately it became completely overrun by the nattering nabobs of negativity.

I'm on the same page. Barbarism deserves to be smacked down, and hard. It would be nice if more Americans had a sense of perspective these days.

What does this have to do with Iran?

Does Israel want to have its cake and eat it too? It’s a nation-state that doesn’t have to act like a nation-state because one of its enemies is a terrorists group?

The argument of blurring the line in response to Hamas stops at Hamas. You can’t just apply it to everyone just because they offer support.

Hell, do you know how many groups like Hamas the US have supported?

The frick are you even talking about? You think Israel wasn't justified in their response to Hamas? You think Israel isn't now justified in their response to Iran?

You know what's the same? A nation being attacked out of nowhere while the western media falls all over themselves to justify why it was warranted.

It's disgusting. And we haven't seen this level of antisemitism since a certain failed Austrian painter about a hundred years ago. And funny enough, our media was making excuses for him too.

I’m no expert in the ME affairs, but I have to think that Iran was pretty damn foolish to think they were going to be able to lob missiles/drones over SA like that and not know that they would shoot them down.

Iran informed Turkey in advance of its planned operation against Israel, a Turkish diplomatic source told Reuters on Sunday, adding that the US conveyed to Iran via Ankara that its operation must be "within certain limits."

This isn't a green light by the U.S. This is diplomatic word twisting. We probably said something to the effect of, "This bullshite is between you and Israel, but if you do X, Y, or Z, then it's game on and we'll hammer your arse."

"The U.S. said it must be within certain limits."

This is why Jordan and Saudi Arabia got involved. Everything fired from the east came in over Jordan and everything from the south/southeast came in over SA. So they engaged it. Not to mention KSA hates the Iranians and the Jordanians are closely allied with the West. It's not complicated.

Also, keep in mind that all this drone stuff is relatively new, the Counter-UAV/UAS systems are still pretty new, and there's a LOT of even newer stuff being tested in the field (think cheaper ways to knock this stuff down in lieu of using very expensive systems like the Dome, etc.).

Anybody and everyone, especially the U.S., is going to get in on the action and T&E their stuff on attacks NOT directed at them. It gives everyone a chance to get operational data/feedback with little risk so we have our ducks in a row when it IS directed at us.

Are you saying that antisemitism is not currently rampant in our media and university systems? Especially after the Hamas attack in October?

YOU brought up Hamas, you muppet.

I think Hamas has only tangential connection with the justification to violate the most critical element of nation states: diplomatic buildings are untouchable. Even when used for subversive elements (which every single one dies, including the US).

The attack from Iran happened because Israel attacked a flagged diplomatic building. Not some hospital with a Hamas HQ under it like you brought up to muddle the waters.

Israel is entitled to strike back, but they aren’t the victims in this circumstance. They caused this to happen.
