Kind of an embarrassing story. After college I took a second job to supplement my income at a group home.
Every night I was supposed to be pack their lunches for when they would work at Good Will the following day. There was stuff to make sandwiches one night, so I put a can of corn in each of their lunch boxes.
Next day supervisor is pissed at me for not thawing out a rib roast and cooking it at 3 in the fricking morning. She told me,"you didnt even give them a can opener."
The sad part is I wasnt fired. I quit a coupke weeks later.
