would argue he just carried on with the family tradition, he just got caught.* Everyone in the southern end of the low country knew exactly what the family legacy was already.

This downfall was inevitable, exactly because of that. Alex and Maggie obviously didn’t do their due diligence as parents. Instead of disciplining their kids, they covered for them, cleaning up their messes.
Paul taking Buster’s second ID, drinking, his BUI that led to the death of Mallory Beach is what finally put AM under the scrutiny of Mark Tinsley-someone who had absolutely no interest in helping him cover up his crimes.

I’ve been following this case since the day after Maggie and Paul were murdered. I’ve read and listened to everything I could get my hands on. I’m having lots of feelings right now, mostly relief and a sense of vindication for those whose lives he destroyed.

Do you think that imbues you with a soul?

No sir, it most assuredly does not.

I’d say it will be ok since he’s not in jail for killing his boyfriend at the moment.

His GF is a lawyer and he wears a 50k Rolex. He’s prolly ok.

In one of the documentaries they told Stephen Smith’s family they were reopening the investigation after AM was arrested here.

I wonder if they found something on a phone in this investigation that lead them to reopen the Smith case.

If murder suicide, why use 2 weapons?

Cousin Eddie or some lowlife cartel guy? IF it was barrel to head to Paul it was cartel.

Alex did this all by himself IMO. I do think he meant to stage it as murder/suicide with Paul being the perpetrator, but he missed the first shot, so that wouldn’t work. That’s why the guns disappeared.

No idea. Why use two weapons if it’s just plain ole murder?

To make it look like it was two shooters.

Just one more way of him throwing out false leads.
I think that the smartest thing he did was calling everybody he could think of to the scene of the crime.
Whole lot of contamination going on.

To throw off the investigation into believing it was 2 murderers, and give AM stronger defense argument. Using 2 different weapons was a smart move. Thank God it didn’t work.

I wonder if state or feds still go ahead with charges on financial crimes. It would make sense, in case this verdict gets tossed on appeal.

The State will go all in with the financial case just like this one. Many families that are victims of AM stealing money deserves Justice.

There were a few here that said the State didn’t even come CLOSE to making a valid case and he would be found not guilty. No hung jury: And a few I believe think he’s innocent. Lol.

I said acquittal. I’m having my crow right now in a sauce piquant.
