Wow! I’m shocked but I agree with the verdict. Justice is a bitch

don’t think it matters anymore
I know if I was on that jury I wouldn’t want it known. Especially on a double murder case.

Verdict is in, jury is done.

It didn't look like anyone shown in the courtroom was surprised, particularly AM.
Such heinous crimes.

OOf is right. I am shocked. Especially the egg lady thinking Ellick was innocent. I really thought they would have a hung jury or not guilty.
I eat my crow. But it matters not a bit to me either way.

Judge just said that their identities are to remain anonymous unless they want to let it be known….he obviously didn’t know their faces were shown to the world 10 minutes prior.

Had polling the jury ever worked to reverse a decision?
Yep. I've seen a case on Dateline where a young girl was set on fire in her car by her boyfriend apparently, EMS found her walking up to them, in horrific condition, trying to whisper a name. She died in the ambulance. The trial over the boyfriend had a lot of drama about the name she said. He was found guilty and when the jurors were polled one guy when asked if voted guilty he "no! I didn't vote guilty!" and all kinds of hell broke lose. That trial has gone through a lot of craziness

Guilty mfer, rot in hell !!!

I noticed how the camera panes straight across the jury pool. Unreal.

Yeah the jury is free. The Judge said one juror almost lost his job-which is against the law, but I get it in this economy.

All of the news stations just violated a serious court order. I’m more curious about what comes of that than the sentencing phase.

It will get appealed, but I really thought it was gonna be a hung jury. Defense blew it with the closing arguments IMO.

When they led Ellick out in handcuffs (rubbing his hands together like Lady MacBeth) they went straight by jury box to the door by witness stand. The entire jury was visible at that point.

I think they knew there was a 0% chance of getting a straight not guilty, too much evidence, so it's either hung jury or guilty. A hung jury would have heavy debate and arguments and could take days, an immediate verdict meant they just sat down and said yeah he obviously did it let's go home. Alex was screwed when that juror left and he already knew he was gone when the jury announced they had a verdict

Been on a jury, and not sleeping on something overnight just bothers me to begin with.
