Did AM's law firm put liens on his belongings? Do they get this money from this sale? What about the beach property?

I think the attorneys for Maggie's estate tried to get something attached to Moselle for use in a wrongful death lawsuit.

I think the fact that he lied about being at the kennels is going to be huge. Why lie?
He had some ridiculous story about not trusting SLED-people with whom he had personal and professional relationships over the years, because of the prosecution of an attorney friend of his about 10 years ago.

If Waters can lay out the timeline, using visuals, and hammering home the lie about the kennel incident, I think that he gets a conviction.

Murdaugh’s lie about not being at the kennels is what pushed LEO to check him out even more. He didn’t count on his son recording him just before he blew his brains out. I’m not sure, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what made people start recusing themselves at the Sheriff’s office, and at different law firms. No one wants to go near him. I’m pretty sure that’s why the AG’s office is prosecuting.

And on a side note, Dick Harpootlian is a real slug. When he was running against Nikki Haley for governor he said, “We’re going to send her back to wherever she came from.” And absolute clown.

This article ties AM with a big time drug smuggler. It also shows the breakdown of the estates to pay people AM ripped off.

Yes, and AM bought the Moselle property from a drug smuggler that was busted many years ago with 17 tons of pot on his 'fishing' boat.

The drug smuggler was never convicted because the witness for the govt was killed by a car.

The link I posted explains the real estate of homes for sale that are notorious for murders.

I am sure the drug smuggling just disappeared and PauPau, Buster, RoRo and TickFay and his daddy were as good as goodness itself; and all drug smuggling stopped because the witness was hit oopsy by a car in the 80's.

Ellick nevah ever owned islands with a drug smuggler. Miss Maggie Mae wouldn't have it, they is goods people.

Cajunangelle's link about the properties is really interesting.

Will we ever know the extent of Murdaugh's partnerships and needs for nearshore islands?

And Palmetto State Bank financed (possibly refinanced( the beach house and then forgave over 100K in money owed on it.

He isn't any longer. Whoever took over will be safe... Unless their spoiled rotten retarded son as "Timmy" (his evil alter binge drinking ego) drives a boat drunk with a flashlight at night and kills somebody.

I am thinking that there are a lot of people including local oh I dunno let's say dirty cops, involved. If it was that many tons of pot over 30 years ago it is huge now.

Maybe even a different, more powerful cartel. The drugs don't need a fisherman cover. They flow up from the border, no?

I’m just saying drug smuggler vs someone indicted once never convicted 37 years ago doesn’t really mesh. What were the circumstances of the witness’ death? Any link to him? I wonder how strong the case was if it rested so heavily on a single witness?

Anyway I know you’ve been fixated on various kinds of other killer/paid killer, mafia/cartel scenarios, so just fleshing that out a bit.

They need to bring an addict of any kind up to testify. When the prosecution was asking about how much he was taking daily( pills/ opioids).. He would go around the question and explain what pills he was taking. Every addict, using and in recovery can tell you the exact amount of whatever their vice is/was that it takes to get outta bed, the exact time and moment they would hit it up again, and so on throughout the day. I don’t believe he was a addict, another lie!

I can confirm this. its a great point

:Two weeks ago, wasn't there a brief news story that the late Mrs. Satterfield's body (the house keeper who fell down the stairs and died four days later) would be exhumed and subjected to a thorough autopsy?

It's always been possible, just takes precise posting skills.

It's a link with the title as an [img]
