I may be the next Einstein.
I hate people.
I hate people.

I think the reason behind this is the highly intelligent ones get tired of hearing the loud retards.

Yes, but intelligent people are not interested in lame chit chat talk. Some people don't see it this way, but an intelligent person is likely to rather spend their time doing something constructive than engaging with people about shite that really doesn't have a purposed, in the grand scheme of things.

it's kind of funny how my friends who have known me for decades are shocked i don't really use instagram, twitter, or snap when i was the earliest of early adopters to communicative tech. it's difficult to explain to them that outlets like insta/snap are utterly stupid and provide no real communication. they don't see the distinction, i imagine b/c they don't realize the narcissism they're displaying. people have literally morphed communication into narcissism and can't tell the difference
i like twitter fine but FB sends me the same shite (b/c most everyone i follow on either have their accounts linked) in a better format

?
those people are posting on those platforms routinely because they are "stupid", but it makes them happy to do so

Sounds like a bullshite excuse to be a hermit.
That being said, I have an IQ in the 130s, and I prefer to be as far away as possible from civilization. Too many dumbasses live in town.
I do read the OT alot though, so maybe I should retake that test...lmao!

i give talks to high school kids and last time i went off on how stupid snapchat is
it was illuminating how ingrained teh narcissism was in those kids b/c they could not rationally comprehend how snap is worthless

FB, IG, Snap are all pretty much shite. But Twitter is the GOAT, better than all the other social media sites combined IMO.

The average generation z kid or whatever they are called, is pretty much on Snapchat all day. It's strange

in terms of what?
i use IG and FB to make several thousand of dollars per year. twitter is pretty much worthless from a business standpoint

i like FB best b/c of the messaging (superior to DMs) and the groups. if not for my firm requiring a FB page, i could go all-twitter if i had to, but i prefer FB's layout fr the twitter-esque news distribution
my FB posts are primarily (1) political stories, (2) memes, or (3) food pics. i don't post myself that often

I don't use FB or Snapchat, but I like Instagram because it is pictures and not just a bunch of lame arse post.
Either way, I think that is a broad statement to make. People post for all different reasons. Some are attention whores, some.. it's just their personality, etc, etc. Some might be miserable, but I don't think everyone who does post.. is miserable.
