You must not be familiar with how the douche brain works. Here is a guy crashing his new BMW just like the Mustang guy in the OP and he has plenty of explanations.

quote:

The short version is that the guy claims
he is like teh best driver in the world
he wasn't doing anything crazy or reckless
his car totally snapped out of his hands because traction control!!!
slightly off tire pressures were enough to send him flying midair into traffic

The GT has over 400hp.

Why not? The lane was open. So long as each vehicle stays in the lane there's no problem here.

Idk what it is about mustangs, but every time one leaves a car show or car meet, it's recorded because they have a tendency to do this.

Which is weird because it's not like the 5.0 coyote is a torque monster down low like the Hemi or LS motors are.

He'd have done it while his badass son did crane kicks on the roof. And when they pulled into their neighborhood, the local milfs would greet them by throwing their panties at the car as they drove by.

Just another day for that family of alphas.

Whenever I see this, the only time I'm surprised is when I don't hear them scream git er done as they peel out.

911moto wouldn't be caught dead in a Mustang. He's a top 2 percenter.

It was actually a nice launch but it looks like he had his steering wheel turned at launch. He tried to correct to avoid hitting the white car, then tried to correct again to avoid hitting the curb, which led to his over-correcting and hitting the white car.

Why would he not turn? Right lane is wide open. No reason to wait for a car in the left lane to pass.

You sound like a bitch.

It really doesn't take that much. My Mazda6 can break the tires lose if I punch it hard enough.

Yeah, but I did buy my 15 yr. old kid one. I'm kind of surprised how loose the rear end is on the GTs. My Vette had 455 hp but was pretty tight on the track (though I did spin it once on the track at NOLA). The GT has only 20 less hp but doesn't feel nearly as powerful as the Vette - yet that back end will break free in a heartbeat. I'll probably put it on the course this season, but I'm not optimistic about lap times.
I'm not a big fan of the Mustangs. My Camaro SS also liked to get loose in the rear, but was very controllable. I had a blast fishtailing that one around turns. The Mustang just doesn't evoke the kind of confidence I had in either of the Chevys.
