Boy people tell tall tales here. You are being disingenuous, at best.

I’d love to see your breakdown on 30k when you are paying in cash for a Mercedes, taking vacations, have 4 people to feed, and living in a house.

70k. 14k (20%) in taxes. $12k for mortgage/taxes/insurance. 7k in savings (so you can pay straight cash for cars, lol). That’s already over 30k.

It’s easy to twist the narrative to make it look like you are frugal. But I suspect you are sitting on a significant amount of money or have family that are supporting you.

I was joking about the Puerto Rican snuff video. You pondered if they made it. I posted that they miraculously survived after a few days in the hospital and surgery. That pissed off a few people for some reason. Then the thread got whacked.

i went and read thru some twitter comments on the Washington Post, NBC news, CNN, etc. so you don't have to

the stance of the liberal social media types is that corporations are merely price gouging and taking advantage of us. that it is driven by corporate greed and not government policy of any kind.

it would appear we are going to cycle out of the race war and into the tax the corporations cycle again to distract the idiots.

Ahhhhh…

Yeah, my pondering should have been an obvious joke. Those dudes got ventilated, repeatedly. Akin to asking if someone who was decapitated died.

Alas, we have many Mensa members here

He also appointed Powell as Fed Chair.

The guy who said this in June.

quote:

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell on Wednesday used the recent plunge in lumber prices as an example of why the central bank thinks the recent surge in inflation will be transitory.

"For example, the experience with lumber prices ... the thought is that prices like that that have moved up really quickly, because of shortages and bottlenecks and the like, they should stop going up and in some point, in some cases, they should actually go down and we did see that in the case of lumber," said Powell during his Q&A session following the Fed’s latest policy decision.

Let's take a look at lumber today.

NASDAQ Lumber

Uh oh.

The trick is to have 10’s or 100’s of thousands of dollars to pay off your multiple houses and cars. Guess that doesn’t factor into the budget though.

Most people eat on their vacations, not just stay the night. $400 for food for four people over an entire month? As I said, disingenuous at best, but certainly not living like royalty.

Not defending the buffoon Brandon but when you give free money out this happens.

I personally know at least 10 people who took PPP loans which were forgiven

One claimed 25 employees and too +500K, he and his "new" girlfriend have gone on 3-4 vacations, bought a house and two highly expensive vehicles

If they can do all that they should be required to pay the fricking money back

We have not begun to see the Biden inflation yet, this is still the Bush, Obama, Trump devaluation, there is much worse on the horizon.

Yay free money and massive deficits.

Did they break the law? I’m not defending rich assholes or anything.

I have a few friends that took plenty, used it to keep the lights on, kept people employed, then kept a shite ton of money.

I’m opposed to most welfare, but people seem really pissed at business owners getting free money as opposed to the usual suspects and government handouts.

Of all the supposed problems leftists have with President Trump, this is the one that truly baffles me, when they claim he tried to be a tyrant or dictator. Where does that come from? Can anyone point to anything he did that was remotely akin to a tyrant or dictator?

All part of their plan. We don't raise third world countries up to our standards, we lower our standards to match theirs.
