Checked online, and it's $8.79 at the store closest to me.
ETA: located in South Lafayette

Just using logic, the #1 is probably their most basic, popular menu item
How does this help? Does the average individual know what the most popular item is at a random place?
As for chic Fila, I have never went by myself. For all places, I don't go often enough to remember what I had on the previous visit. Do those fatties who frequent these places often order the same thing each time?

$9.09 before tax, but with that 10% it will be $9.99.
That is not too bad considering the calories in that meal. It's worth two meals for me.
The problem is no one is splitting that into two meals.

What a strange flex
I probably eat fast food ~10 times a year (only fried chicken or ice cream), but it's pretty common sense that a chicken sandwich would be the first thing listed on the Chick-fil-a menu.

I would bet the average American knows what a number 1 at Chick Fil A is

Love it. Completely on brand.
A poor person posting like it is a rich person. Love it. Its a Motown trademark.

Based upon threads on here, best guess is a chicken biscuit. However, someone already said it was a chicken sandwich. More or less, that is the same thing, a form of chicken filet on a form of bread.
Also, the average American is a fatass, so you're right, most probably would know what the number 1 is, not because it's common knowledge but because of common visits.

$13.75 + tax
Brooklyn. It's been around that price for a few years now though.
I'd also pass a really cool bar on the way that has:
Free-Range Grain-Fed Fried Chicken Sandwich with delicious homemade sauce and fresh bun from a local bakery that's also a lot bigger than Chick Fil-A + homemade fries for $16

Not a flex, I just found it interesting that people would know the number 1 combo off hand.

Do they not have variations?
Like burger places you would assume the number 1 is a burger, but is it a Big Mac, a whopper, or whatever...I wouldn't know.
