Yeah I’m pretty sure that’s incorrect.
I’ll have to dig this up, but there was a study recently that showed that there wasn’t much correlation between extramarital affairs and “more attractive options” let’s say.
Most extramarital affairs are a function of proximity and time, not “an OT9 hit on me at a club and I just had to”.

I had a similar situation with a g/f many years ago. She found out I was fooling around at the time. Months later, she admitted to me that she had a one night stand with another dude because she was angry and resentful at me. I was heart broken, it was revenge. I learned a valuable lesson after that, never fvck around if you truly love your significant other.

I think many people can resist the temptation and just don't put themselves in those kinds of situations. Its really not that difficult.
I can guarantee I won't ever cheat on a SO because there is an option of someone really really attractive. I'm not that shallow.

Nah. I'd venture to guess everyone one of us has faced temptation from another woman before. Hell yeah, that would be fun, but it would never be worth it. The lies and stories would be too hard to keep up with. The potential damage would be life altering for so many people.
I'm not going to judge anyone who has made the decision to give into temptation. If it works out for you, then live your life. But don't assume anyone hasn't been tempted before.
