Raining with a high of 68, low of 51. Currently 57. Coldest July 4th of my life.

Yes sir, they are. Been up here since '91, still have property in Tangi Parish. Biggest difference in summers here vs S La. is very little bugs,no fire ants, almost no skeeters, don't have to cut your grass as often, seldom unbearable humidity. May thru September is fabulous. Now December thru April is a bitch. That's why in retirement I will spend winters back home and summers up here.
