I cant believe the amount of people who are suggesting renting a jackhammer just to pull a pole out of the ground.

I remember growing up when they started making the fancy hoops you could install that were easy to raise up and down.

It would take about one weekend of dunk contests and basketball to absolutely destroy one of those.

Nothing pissed off parents more than a gang of kids destroying a new one right after the cement dried.

Roughly 5-10 licks with a sledge hammer should break the conecrete away from the post, remove loosened post, remove concrete, enjoy cold High Life.

I’ve done it twice with a cheap Harbor Freight air Chisel and a Craftsman air compressor. 20 gallon tank. Using a spike chisel. Works great.
