Anyone happen to have a 370V 80/5 microfarad combo capacitor for an A/C condenser unit laying around that they don’t need right now?
Also, would help if it was in or around Lafayette and you didn’t mind leaving home at 10:30 on Sunday night to meet a stranger at a pre-arranged location to sell them said capacitor.
Couldn’t hurt to ask.

Do yourself a favor...get up right now and go to the WalMarks to get yourself one of those $100 window units. You can have it installed before 11:30 and it will absolutely save your night of sleep. It is too damn hot to be sleeping without AC right now.

Exact same thing happened to us Tuesday. After being awake since Monday and at hospital all Monday night and Tuesday with husband who need appendectomy I came home alone at 10 pm to a 78 degree house. It was the capacitor. 181 $$ for a 30 $ part.
