I had a '98 that I purchased when I graduated high school in 2000. I drove it until 2012 with no issues. I sold it to one of my cousins who was in high school. He got rid of it when he graduated from LSU. Hehad to replace the AC clutch, and the CV joints. No issues with motor or transmission. It was over 200,000 miles when he dumped it.

Any sedan made in the last few years will feel great compared to an ‘09. The CVT is terrible. My wife brought a 2013 Nissan Rogue into marriage, and it was a good vehicle until around 85k miles at which point the CVT became a source of constant problems.

I drove one once a couple years ago and it was actually a pretty nice car.

Buy a Camry or Corolla dude. Will save you headaches in the future.
