You don't have to attend church to live a good Christian life. The church is just there to collect your money.

If talking about it from a perspective of being Christian, I'd say this thing has been a blowout victory. It has forced us to come together and spend more time with our families, and pretty much turn off the lights on the outside world. This has been challenging, for sure. But, it has brought about a forced change in just about every area possible in regards to marriage and family. We can't just run around town and avoid the kids or the wife. Now, you have to stay home and find ways to work through it. And as a community, we're having to push aside being selfish and come together to work as a team. Not saying every single person out there is following that path, but I think for the most part a bunch of people are following that path. At least, that's my optimistic assessment of it. You have to find a silver lining somewhere.

You're not gonna get that by mindlessly throwing on your Sunday outfit and heading to Church every Sunday, yet continuing to live the same life you always have.

It has brought about CHANGE. Forced change, at that.

nope

You don't need to go to church to be a Christian, but the church should be a central part of any Christian's life

"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” - Matthew 18:20

There! You're under the 10-person limit, and you can worship as you please in the comfort of your own home.

It's not like the gubment is telling you what you can and can't do in your own home.....yet

Eh I think he already has a pretty big victory when all the catholic priests molested children.

That "two or three is gathered in my name" verse is constantly taken out of context - it specifically relates to internal church discipline

Jesus is in your midst even if you are alone

my church isnt shut down for Easter

the congregation isnt physically there, however.

but EVERY SINGLE DAY mass is taking place, and the wonderful events of Holy Week are still happening.

if anything, this is a defeat for Satan as Jesus is rejoicing in the strength of his people in these terrible times

Church is where you make it. You don’t need a building or a priest to be close to God.

God knew this was going to happen and plagues are an act of God, so if it is His will we take a sabbath then there is no victory for the devil as long we obey and avoid disobeying to make pharisaical displays of faith.

Do you even Bible, bro? When Mary entered the cave (while it was still dark) he was risen. Jesus rose on Saturday eve. Easter is a pagan spring feast in which the Bible never instructs to celebrate. Jesus tells us to remember him and break bread drink wine in remembrance of his sacrifice (Passover). Read the Bible vs being told things...

Yep - and ended up trading places with him outside the village (if you read it closely)

Just like He traded places with us on the cross
