I haven’t known many poor people who felt that way. Hating the rich.

You see that hate more with people who have some money.

They’re poor because they put all their money in the collection plate thinking that will get them to the promised land.

I always save a couple scratchers to put in the plate on Sunday to hopefully give me good luck the next payday.

Don’t kid yourself. Plenty of people with money resent other folks with money. They’ll put them down by calling them “new money” or something similar. Having money doesn’t cure envy or jealousy.

Why? Because the world isn’t fair. I graduated 2016 in petroleum engineering. I’ve been employed only 45% of the time since graduating. I took the GRE and GMAT and scored 96th percentile in each. That already is a test amongst the top 20 percent of people as it is only for college graduates. I have an $80,000 scholarship to Duke and a Yale admit to the full time MBAs. I’m getting a masters in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M online.

I’m currently making zero dollars because of how shitty oil and gas is. So yeah I don’t like people that are making great money when I’m positive I’m much more capable than them. It pisses me off. There isn’t much justice in this world. Gotta look out for yourself at all times because if you don’t, you’ll end up homeless. Anyone not in oil and gas truly won’t understand this.

There is nothing divine about the troglodytes that make up our bureaucracy.

I mean to keep it local for you baws, just look at NOLA and BR government.

Divine indeed, right?

Just not capable enough to come to the realization that doubling down on petroleum engineering is a terrible career move considering current market conditions

They're just making sure you actually live in the manner of Jesus rather than treat people like garbage and think all is forgiven if you say a few chants on Sunday.

Lenin and Mao did the same. So really they're just the good guys in all this.

I have my reasons why. I might recruit for Exxon, Chevron during MBA or use it as a fallback later in life. It’s cheap in state tuition. Also, it looks good when recruiting at the MBA programs for consulting or tech to have a masters engineering from Texas A&M.

I dont think Exxon or chevron are looking for a career student with zero work experience. You expecting an oil boom soon, baw? Because I'm in the oilfield and it hasnt looked good in quite some time.
