Go wherever you want
If America is so bad to blacks, go to where you thinks blacks are treated better

This absolutely true

This mentality is why race relations in America will never improve. White folks get all defensive when someone of color tries to discuss past discretions of this great country.
the problem is that there is no solution to past indiscretions of any person
until we create a time machine, it's a moot point
consistently relying on stuff that happened 50-150 years ago, especially if you were not alive, is a crutch. the biggest assumption that any person of color with this mindset (including the author of the article in the OP) has is that all white people are part of a monolithic culture and history. dominant white groups were very shitty to marginalized white groups throughout history. that same crutch, however, isn't nearly as common
if you want a really good comparison, look at all the oppressive shite white people did to asians, who out-earn white people
when you present this to a person of color trying to use the historical crutch, they just call asians white (like the author in the OP)

You said a whole content will welcome me back. Go ahead and answer. Which continent? Or just admit you are wrong in your assumption.

White folks can't understand what slavery and Jim Crow have to do with the high black violent crime, run down black neighborhoods, and fatherless black families. We all understand that blacks were dealt a bad hand in the past. But it just doesn't resonate when we have a black president, black Supreme Court justice, black congressmen, black attorney general, black mayors, etc.

The Irish and Slavs agree with this, not to mention the Armenians.

I'm not part of whites as a group, and especially not part of that generation. I will not pay for the sins of the people that came before me.

I disagree.
The black people that I know are successful and live in nice areas and are educated. Some even vote Republican.
Just because a segment of a group can't catch on to life doesn't mean every person in that group is a lowlife.
Any person that realizes what fuels America can be successful, regardless of color.
Everybody has issues, adapt and overcome.
The world don't wanna hear about the labor pains, they just want to see baby.

you got your anglos, scandinavians, and dutch protestants as the main "white people" culture historically and then a bunch of discriminated against catholics from central and southern europe (and ireland)

This type of argument is a rather slippery slope. Talking history is one thing. Extending it to direct causation and attribution is where it gets difficult.
Posted on 1/1/16 at 8:21 pm to biglego
I'm just to the right of mayonnaise on the conservative scale, so obviously I didn't vote for Obama.
I was really optimistic, that while he would spend us into oblivion, I was certain that he would improve race relations.
It sucks that they have gotten worse.

No one has done that here. And outside of here only a few fools who do not represent black people.

The reason this pisses so many white people off is because the younger generation of blacks are still throwing slavery and other stuff in our faces when we took no part in any of that. It was absolutely 100% wrong to treat other humans as sub-humans. But you know what there isn't a fricking thing I can do about it and I am sick of fricking hearing about it. You can't change the past no matter what you do. It was wrong way no around it. Until black people drop it, racism will never end. Now you will ask why do black ppl need to drop it and its because they continue to perpetuate it. Its not enough for whites to acknowledge it and admit the sins of the past in this country. We do and that should be the end of it. But its not it and gets worse and worse everyday and most whites are sick of hearing about.
