I would not limit it to 10-15 grams per day. I lost 50 pounds in the matter of 4-5 months by eating about 50 grams of carbs per day while working out and running. I ate a lot, but it was foods that were low in carbohydrates. Chicken, eggs, fish, vegetables, sweet potato at night. I would also give myself a cheat day (usually Sunday). I cut beer out of my diet which helped too, also rice and as much bread as possible. I ran two miles six days a week in the afternoon and would workout about three times a week early in the mornings.

Are you cutting down for a fight or something?

If not you need to bump up your calorie needs a little bit and shoot for 1-2 lbs of fat a week tops

Or you can follow the metabolic diet approach and give yourself a 24-48 hr window of increasing your carb intake

That doesn't mean you go crazy but maybe 75-125 g of carbs tops if you do this approach

Keep your carbs under 20. Eat until full. Don't worry so much about calories right now. Cut the exercise/lifting until you get near your goal weight and begin to plateau. Then introduce fasting (skip breakfast). Closer to your goal weight, you can begin to concentrate more on calories.

From my experience on keto, exercise/lifting just sabotages everything when you're trying to drop weight. Some people can pull it off but not me.

Exercise makes you hungrier. Your body is really good at not starving itself.

If you quit lifting you end up losing a lot of muscle. I made that mistake last year. Yea I lost weight, but not in the right places.

I probably just need to increase my protein intake along with fiber. Also increase my calories by 500 since I'm burning 1000 per day

The op is useless without knowing your height weight, resting pulse, bp and why you think thats a lifestyle or a crash program.

Below 20 is when you first start keto. You can go back up if you please.

I wouldn't though, you could easily slip back into bad eating habits.

Plus I eat burgers all the damn time. So I don't know what your talking about. I've dropped 45lbs since September and have my six pack back, I haven't seen my abs in 13 fricking years. I'd like to keep them.

I actually cut down my exercising, and saw way better results. If you keto and cardio too much, you'll just look like you went through chemo.

Im not sure how you are enjoying life on 10-15g of carb.

I am doing about 50-65g a day and seeing great results.

Carbs are bad, but you dont need to completely eliminate them...

Lots of fat to burn. I'm not exercising as much as OP, but my calorie and carb intake has been about the same for the past 6 weeks. I'm down 24 lbs. I did eat a piece of cake at my grandmothers 85th, I've had a a couple beers here and there, I had 2 slices of pizza one night. I also fast every Friday.

Bout to eat a steak and steamed veggies. I steam the veggies with crab boil. 3g of carbs for my dinner.

What do people who enjoy life eat?
