I remember of of the "housewives" reality shows featuring black houswives of atlanta and Porsha Stewart just thinks she is all that because her grandfather was a civil rights activist. So you would think she would be at least slightly educated on the underground railroad.

They went to visit a portion of the underground railroad and filmed it. Dumbass Porsha truly thought that slaves had built an actual railroad with train tracks that ran under the country.

You know what? You’re right. I used the wrong words. You call it distrust but from my experience, that turns to spite.

I’ve had very candid conversations with people. The experiences of their grandparents have been passed on and it makes them jaded. Not all of course, but ome carry it for a life time.

I hate that they grow up believing I had more opportunities and privileges than them because of the color of my skin and not because I was raised by responsible parents. Was explained to me once by a black guy in his 50s now. His grandmother raised him telling him life is a football game and due to the color of his skin, he’s already down a touchdown and all the refs are dirty. Motivation to work harder? Maybe. But the way he told it was it’s demoralizing and creates a lot of animosity.

So you’re right. They don’t sit around scheming and bashing whites. But it’s def a conversation that is had

That’s exactly what he’s insinuating. The argument has shifted to cops targeting people of color and turning a blind eye to caucasians.

Most reasonable Black people don't want any of this.

We don't think you're racist because your white, but we may be inclined to think some whites are racist based on their actions against blacks who are law abiding and productive citizens.

You being white isn't a reason for hatred.

We don't want you to pay us anything for previous sins. Just treat us fairly. It would help our less professionally connected Blacks if you continued to provide internships and entry level jobs for qualified candidates.

However you are not required to do so.

Apply for any job that you want. Companies hire whoever they want.

Be proud of who you are. Just don't base the pride of one group on the subjugation of another. Goes for all races.
