The $3 million dollars we could have used to help build more than 1 tower holding all the power for the entire city, we spent on tearing down and storing an inanimate object lmaoooo

Govt wastes money that could be used to help the people who give them the money in the first place.

Diversity programs > Road maintenance, that kind of thing.

On the bright side, since the removal...... crime has decreased and there’s no more looting.

If we could harness the power of your tears we could power the state.

What a stupid take! First, the cost of that tower is orders of magnitude more than that. Second, you’d have to put redundant transmission lines in because you don’t know what’s going to be knocked out. Now, you’re talking maybe half a billion dollars.

Robert E Lee was a good man who made a notoriously bad choice to fight for slavery. He should NOT be commemorated. And don’t give me any shite about states’ rights; the civil war was about slavery. States rights was just the means to hang onto the evil institution that Lee fought to preserve.

Don’t have to give you anything about states rights. Lee didn’t fight for slavery. He fought to protect his home state from invasion. It’s as simple as that.

Hitler was a fantastic German leader. Should he be commemorated? What you stand for has some importance. In fact, it is what’s most important. In the crucible of his life, Robert E Lee stood for human bondage.
